Andy is Vice Chair of Golub Growth. He also serves as Vice Chair of Direct Lending for Golub Capital. He is a member of Golub Capital’s Investment and Watchlist committees, oversees the Firm’s Special Situations team, manages the Golub Growth business and spearheads strategic initiatives. Andy joined Golub Capital in 2004.

Andy was previously Head of Middle Market Lending and Golub Growth (formerly known as Late Stage Lending) at Golub Capital. Prior to joining the Firm, Andy was a Managing Director at Albion Alliance, where he originated, executed and supervised subordinated debt and equity investments for two private partnerships. Prior to this position, he worked as a Vice President at Bankers Trust Alex Brown, and was formerly a member of New York Life Insurance Company’s Private Equity group, managing leveraged senior loans, mezzanine investments, private equity securities and limited partnership assets.

Interests

Andy really enjoys working with people who are authentic, do not just ask questions but ask the right questions, and who appreciate the journey as much or more than the result. Outside of work, you can find Andy trying to perfect his imperfect golf game, reading five books at a time, searching for the best wood fired pizza, standing by a BBQ or fixing something in his house. Above everything else, he truly enjoys his time with his wife, two sons and Labradoodle.
